My name is Caitling Su. Some of my hobbies include: playing tennis, listening to music, singing & dancing (although I'm not very good), reading, eating, and sleeping. At Darby, I am involved in many things. I am a part of the girls' tennis team and I play the flute in band. I also take part in Diversity Club, Chinese Club, and NHS. Academically, I am very interested in the sciences and I plan to pursue a medical career in the future. I'm still a little unsure on what specific medical career I want to pursue but I am very interested in neuroscience and biomedical science.
My Capstone experience was a very special one. Before school ended last year (2017-2018), I found out from my parents that we would finally be able to visit Taiwan this summer. Even though I did visit Taiwan when I was a baby, I clearly don't remember anything from then. I chose to do my Capstone project on this because being able to re-visit and experience Taiwan, now that I'm older, I was able to meet a lot of family from my dad's side and generally experiencing life there was incredibly memorable for me. On top of that I was able to brush up on and improve my Chinese skills! Overall, this trip was super special and memorable for me and I would love to visit Taiwan again.
